The morning mists swirl A foggy cloud Obscures the objective of the day That is, assuming there is one Maybe it is just sleep Roll over and surrender to the disinterest Yet, there is fight There is always fight The fight remains stronger than the mists So forward I march
There is a delightful flow to the book. It dances around the perspectives of the main protagonists to weave a rich tapestry of intrigue. The tension slowly builds throughout the book, just when you think you know what is going to happen, then narrative twists and the turns again, and again. It is a majestic piece of story telling, a wonderfully written and engaging story that will delight you.
Representation matters in movies, because when we do not portray a world that is representative of the reality of this beautifully diverse planet that we live on, when we do not present the possibility of impossibility to all; we deny people the opportunity to dream and to project. It is not simply the narrative that we lead people to believe, by giving them this historic line that they are some how less than, but it is also the lack of possibility that we deny people, by reducing their capacity to dream.
I recently finished reading the book Grateful by Diana Butler Bass. She was a guest on the Faith Angle podcast and her input to that conversation intrigued me to the point of buying and reading the book What do you think of when you hear the word grateful? Is it possible that we apply an... Continue Reading →

A combination of time and thoughtfulness is slightly delaying the progress of season 2. I feel I need to be much more deliberate with what I write these days. Even though we don’t mean them to be, what we choose to share in such a forum is to an extent indelible to the reader. As... Continue Reading →

There are some things that only experience can teach us Lessons only time can offer However the challenge, when taking advise from someone more experienced Is trying to discern if they have learned the things they were being taught Or if they simply allowed the lessons to pass them by

It is amazing to me, that a speech delivered way back in 1963 can be still so poignant in 2018. Whilst we should celebrate the progress that has been made, we should be ashamed and embarrassed at where we have failed; and we must continue to strive to deliver freedom and equality to all people... I’m not normally one for new years resolutions, or even really putting any significance in the number associated with the measurement of time that we call a year. However 2018 feels different, after a sad 2016, 2017 was supposed to be a better year; 2017 was actually such a dumpster fire of a year that... Continue Reading →
