After the Long Dark Night

After the long dark night

The sun beings to rise

Freshly illuminated with morning light

Truth revealed as darkness dies

Ominous shapes that lurked in the dark

Releveled to be trees, new and alive

Fresh growth sprouting from winter bark

Hope springs as life continues to thrive

Sometimes we must hibernate

To build back up our strength

We must wait on the Lord to reinvigorate

We seek his heart, to enable us to get on his wavelength
