Road Kill

A raccoon and an armadillo

Face off across the road

Years of hate boiling to overflow

They breach the boundary

Switchblades drawn

Tonight is the night

The end will come

Then, in the blink of an eye

18 wheels end it

No fight, no vengeance

Not entirely unexpected

All that is left

Of this animal feud

Is road kill

    1. Not exactly, I saw the road kill taking my daughter to school this morning. I thought it odd the 2 of them right next to each other. When I give it a chance my imagination can still make a story out of nothing 🙂

      1. Hahahaha, that’s great. Not that you saw the two dead animals, but that you have an imagination that is active and vivid.
        🙂
