Happy Easter

On my very best days
When I think right, speak right
Walk right and act right
Still you died for me

On my very worst days
When I respond in anger
When I fall foul of sin
Still you died for me

When I didn’t even know you
When I had run as far as I could
Trapped in desperation
Still you died for me

What astounding love
Unparalleled grace
That you would die for us
So that we could know you

And then, beyond comprehension
Not only did you die for me
You were resurrected for me
Now you live, for me

Thank you for all that you did
Thank you for all that you do
Thank you for all that you are
My beautiful saviour
