Life at times feels like a dance around the edge of a vortex

Always on the precipice of being sucked in

Once inside it is so difficult to escape

As work & business drags you deeper underground

You are alive, but dead, a walking zombie

Run you say, run, leave it far behind

Hide in solitude, afraid, cowering?

You may be safe, but you are no more alive

Than in the black hole of business

And thus, we must learn to walk the line

We must learn the graceful balance of a tightrope walker

Or risk losing ourselves, one way or the other
