River of Rage

There is a river of rage

That runs through my soul

I can only pray

That one day it does not overflow

When the floods come

When the banks are put to the test

Are the levies we have built

Strong enough to contain?

  1. It does sometimes feel like those levies are not strong enough but keep leaning on the Lord–he is the strength in them. Sometimes it is hard to remember, but the Will of God will never lead us where the Grace of God cannot keep us.
